About the Instructors

Chester Rebeiro

Chester Rebeiro

Associate Professor , Computer science and Engineering , IIT Madras

Chester Rebeiro is currently Associate Professor at IIT Madras. He completed his PhD from IIT Kharagpur and a post-doc from Columbia University. His research interests are hardware security, applied cryptography, side channel analysis, and operating system security. He is also Associate Editor for the Journal of Hardware and Systems Security (HASS) published by Springer. In addition to guiding several students on their PhD and M.S. degrees, he has published prolifically in many IEEE conference proceedings. He teaches secure systems engineering and secure processor microarchitecture and is also an author of two chapters in these areas published by Springer.
