About the Instructors

Prof. Ramesh Anbanandam

Prof. Ramesh Anbanandam

Professor , Department of Management Studies , Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee

Prof. Ramesh Anbanandam is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee with expertise in transportation and supply chain management. His research focuses on sustainable multimodal logistics, humanitarian and healthcare supply chains, waste management, and electric vehicle adoption, with growing interest in AI applications in these domains.

He teaches a wide range of management and analytics courses, including supply chain management, data analytics, project management, and emerging areas such as IoT and circular supply chains. He has supervised multiple PhD and M.Tech students and received the Outstanding Teacher Award (2022) from IIT Roorkee.

Prof. Ramesh has edited and authored several academic books, organised major international conferences, and contributed significantly to NPTEL courses. He is actively involved in academic administration and professional societies, and currently serves as Associate Editor of the International Journal of Revenue Management.
