Experiments to determine stresses/displacements under simple loading: Bending and Torsion Experiments. Vibration of beams with and without concentrated masses. Euler load by southwell plot, buckling of thin-walled open sections, influence lines, moment indicator, frame analysis etc Unsymmetrical bending of beams, shear centre of open section, composite beams, etc.
