Academic Mentorship

Role of Teaching Assistants

The role of a teaching assistant is to serve as a knowledgeable and supportive mentor for students enrolled in their assigned subject. They are tasked with facilitating discourse and addressing student inquiries, through live sessions and other means, to promote a thorough understanding of the course material.

Additionally, they must diligently prepare presentation slides and questions for peer review, while maintaining frequent communication with the course instructor. A teaching assistant’s role is crucial to the academic success of students, as they act as an intermediary between the course instructor and the learners. Their passion for their subject matter and commitment to mentoring students allows for a dynamic and interactive learning experience.

Live Discourse & Sessions

Conducting weekly live problem-solving sessions, tutorial walkthroughs, and clarifying conceptual doubts for learners.

Course Material Curation

Preparing supplementary presentation slides, mock quizzes, coding assignments, and peer review question sets.

Discourse & Forum Support

Actively moderating course discussion forums, addressing queries promptly, and providing constructive feedback.

Instructor Intermediary

Bridging faculty instructors and learners, relaying learning gaps, and facilitating continuous curriculum enhancements.

Role of Interns

Our organization offers internships across several teams, including operations, research projects, and the Industry Interaction Cell. The primary responsibility of these interns is to complete assigned tasks within their respective teams.

Additionally, interns are expected to provide regular progress reports to their assigned mentors, who will oversee their work and provide guidance as needed. These internships are intended to provide valuable learning experiences for participants, while also contributing to the overall goals and objectives of our organization.
